It's true! On this page you will find a list of Gaerans who are known for their affection for booze--rightly or otherwise--as well as some other notable information about Gaera alcohol.

Gaeran Drinkers of Note

  • Aya du Mythril-Domanada - The queen is rumored to take a break from her monarchly duties to rub elbows with the lower classes, and share a tall glass of something hard. It is also said that the famously hard liquor, dragonale, mysteriously appeared in Doma at the same time that she did; some claim that she used this to get the king drunk and accept her marriage proposal.
  • Dia Rai - A former mercenary and now-owner of the Jade Dragon Inn. Used to drink something fierce--with unpredictable results--but now tries to lay off--so as to best handle the more predictably unpredictable results of her patrons' over-drinking. However, the older reputation is better known.
  • Tassi Wells - Due to her Baronian and Rivan background, Tassi has a taste for hard liquor. After a hard day's work at the temple, she's often seen in taverns with a glass or two of whiskey. During her travels in Riva, she spent some time in Scottsdale, home of a drink its developer called "scotch." As a result of her occasional use of whiskey stills for brewing healing potions on a mass scale, some assert that scotch has highly beneficial medicinal properties.
  • Kamos Mazuo - Always drinks sake, generally right out of the bottle. Luckily for him, he usually gets pissed at something and leaves shortly after this or he'd be publicly stumbling stupid drunk before too long from all that booze.

Notes

  • Gwa'aag - Alcoholic beverages of all kinds are very important to Gwa'aag's culture and economy. Orks like to drink a lot, and as such they are the experts on good booze. All booze from Gwa'aag is fresh and well made. Orks are excellent drinkers, and their standard ale is slightly stronger than dragonale.
  • the Jade Dragon Inn - A medium-sized inn of Doma City known for carrying a fine selection of alcohol, including a small but changing menu of exotics. One of the first inns to carry dragonale and the mixed drink Fusionaire.
