Mazoku Creation - Nakibe's Interference

We resolved that thing with Nakibe, Dan and Stephen and decided to keep it in.

Lithaladhwen: This is what I suggested. Maybe the reason Nakibe hasn't called in that favor Stephan supposedly owes him is that he was required by some OTHER deity who outranks him to fix the problem.
Lithaladhwen: Means Naki isn't actually allowed to do that crap.
Lithaladhwen: Also means Stephan doesn't actually owe him shit, but Naki can keep him stringing along all he wants.
Lithaladhwen: Just one option. I dunno.
CGNakibe: I actually have nursed the idea that Naki never intends to do ANYTHING with it. It sort of fits him.
Lithaladhwen: Heh.
CGNakibe: Like you said, Naki can string Stephan along for as long as he damn well pleases.
Lithaladhwen: Well, Stephan did still make the deal. So perhaps Stephan's offer stands, but Naki had to fix it for other reasons.
CGNakibe: Likely.
Lithaladhwen: Same deal, just say that Ishtar wasn't happy and Naki made it all better.
Lithaladhwen: That way the higher gods are appeased and nothing changes.

SO WE CAN STOP THINKING WE DIDN'T.
